A client of ours frequently encountered issues with their electrical installations. Failures in the electrical cabinet were often due to inadequate cooling or dirty air being drawn in. Most cabinet system suppliers provide them with small axial fans for internal cooling. When their customers face issues in contaminated environments, they typically install fans with filters to purify the incoming air. However, as is well-known, an axial fan can move sufficient air but struggles to overcome pressure. As soon as the filter becomes even slightly dirty, it cannot draw in enough air.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

These small steel-coated or aluminum\u00a0centrifugal fans<\/a>\u00a0are perfect for this application. They are lightweight, easy to install, and still capable of drawing in enough air, even when the filter is dirty. A high-quality cartridge filter is placed on the fan inlet, and the outlet is directed downward to cool the electrical cabinet. This approach works exceptionally well. The electrical cabinet is maintained under complete overpressure, ensuring that no dirt can enter through cracks or gaps. The large airflow also provides highly efficient cooling.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
