To prepare the pet food \u2013 specifically for dogs in this case \u2013 ground offal is cooked in steam tunnels. <strong>Highly contaminated steam vapours <\/strong>(approx. 90\u00b0C), which also contain fats, are released during this process, and therefore <strong>cannot be easily extracted<\/strong>. Our customer initially enquired about <a href=\"https:\/\/slingerlandtechniek.nl\/casestudys\/kunststof-ventilatoren-voor-dampafzuiging-in-pet-recyclingbedrijf\/\">plastic fans<\/a>, but we recommended they should opt for <strong>industrial stainless steel fans<\/strong> because of the higher temperatures and the humidity levels in the for industrial stainless steel fans, our customer installed extraction hoods <strong>above the pet food company\u2019s steam tunnels<\/strong>. The vapours then had to be extracted before they could be removed by the hoods. We provided two different types of fans for this \u2013 supplying 3x <a href=\"https:\/\/slingerlandtechniek.nl\/shop\/nl\/ventilatoren\/bpr-modellen\/bpr-352c\"><strong>BPR 352C<\/strong><\/a><strong> with a 0.25kW WEG motor<\/strong> and 3x <a href=\"https:\/\/slingerlandtechniek.nl\/shop\/nl\/ventilatoren\/bpr-modellen\/bpr-632c\"><strong>BPR 632C<\/strong><\/a><strong> with a 1.50kW WEG motor<\/strong>. In our warehouse, we also fit an isolating switch on the fans, including connection for the motors with an EMC cable and fittings<strong>.
