We make a difference every day at Slingerland, with top-quality industrial fans<\/strong>. In this case study, a leading company in the Netherlands, which specialises in spraying XL products in mega coating halls, was looking for an all-in solution <\/strong>for blasting and spraying products. Products of this size are usually blasted and sprayed in separate halls, which of course means a lot of time is taken up with transportation.<\/p>

The company in question made an enquiry to our client \u2013 a manufacturer of blasting and spraying booths, powder coating installations and pre-processing lines<\/strong> \u2013 who built a fantastic installation, exactly in accordance with their customer\u2019s requirements. Which fans are suitable for air extraction in a blasting hall?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

This company\u2019s challenge was to choose the right industrial fans, not just with the desired flow rate and pressure<\/strong>, but which were also explosion-proof<\/strong>. They also needed to be suitable for outdoor use.<\/p>

The solution? Type TR 1121<\/a> directly-driven centrifugal fans. These high-pressure centrifugal fans have an extra external coating<\/strong>, which makes them 100% weatherproof<\/strong>. We\u2019ve also added an extra layer to the centrifugal fans\u2019 WEG motors<\/strong>, so they\u2019re the ideal fans for extraction in a blasting hall!<\/p>

These medium-pressure fans can each extract air at 32,000 m3\/h<\/strong>, with a static pressure capacity of 4110 pascals at 15\u00b0C. With a power consumption of 47.6kW, we were therefore able to select a fan with 83.8% efficiency<\/strong> and a very low noise level<\/strong>. We ticked all the boxes one by one, resulting in a happy customer!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
